Supporting Providers of Home Medical Equipment and Services
in the Home with Leadership, Knowledge, and Advocacy
The success of our association has always been driven by the dedication and active participation of our members. With your support, we can advocate more effectively and continue providing quality medical equipment and care to patients in their home.
HOMES Committees, State Workgroups, and Payer Workgroups are where our members come together to tackle the pressing issues facing our industry and collaborate to drive positive change for providers throughout New England.
Committees
Payer Relations Committee | This committee sets our payer advocacy priorities and strategy to ensure we’re focusing on the issues that impact home medical equipment providers. The committee tracks payer policy and operational changes across Medicaid, managed care organizations (MCOs), and commercial payers, authorizes the creation of payer-specific or issue-specific workgroups as needed, and ensures consistent messaging across states and payers. |
Legislative & Regulatory Committee | This committee advances provider priorities through legislative and regulatory action when payer issues require policy solutions. The committee tracks state and federal legislation and regulations, supports payer and issue-specific workgroups, coordinates testimony, comment letters, and outreach to legislators, and aligns advocacy efforts with national partners such as AAHomecare, NCART, and VGM. |
Events & Education Committee | The HOMES Events Committee works together to design and plan engaging member events including our annual conference, networking opportunities, educational sessions, and webinars. Both provider and associate members are invited to join in on the planning of our events. |
Associate Member Committee | The HOMES Associate Member Committee invites all HOMES Associate Members: Elite Supporter, Premium Supporter, Advanced Supporter, and Standard Supporter to join us for a quarterly call to discuss how we can add value to your membership and strengthen our partnership in advocating for your customers across New England. |
Payer Workgroups
