Supporting Providers of Home Medical Equipment and Services in the Home with Leadership, Knowledge, and Advocacy |
Keynote Speaker: Matt Jones
My name is Matt Jones, and I am from being a 3-Time cancer conqueror to surviving a bone marrow transplant, to relearning how to walk, to completing a marathon on every continent, and yes, that also includes Antarctica!
My talk, Healthcare is a Marathon, is an inspirational/motivational leadership talk designed to motivate, encourage, and inspire home health, home care, and durable medical equipment providers professionals in the changing climate in healthcare.
The talk is upbeat, energetic, full of humor, and tangible action strategies throughout. It is based on my experiences conquering cancer three times (doctors did not think he would live), going through a bone marrow transplant, relearning how to walk, running marathons around the world, and my studies as a Ph.D. Candidate in Organizational Leadership along with Positive Psychology, and my book Life's a Marathon.
One of the benefits of my talk is reminding your members of the difference they make in the lives of patients through my inspiring story of conquering my health challenges and the benefits I experienced from receiving home healthcare.
